what would a womans vintage triumph bicycle be worth?
If the bicycle has a Sturmey Archer rear hub look for the date stamped on its outside shell. A two digit number indicates the year, a 54 means 1954 for example. Old women’s bikes don’t sell as well as mens, mostly because it is men who collect them, but depending on the age at least $150 and maybe more depending on the year. Go to oldroads.com when you have the date, be prepared to post pictures, and post your question in the English Roadsters Discussion Forum. The guys there are the experts and can give you a more accurate assessment of its value then I can.

The Women (Keepcase) $5.75 George Cukor, Hollywood’s legendary “woman’s director,” had his hands full with the all-female cast of this 1939 film adaptation of the Clare Boothe play. The story finds a group of catty, competitive friends destroying reputations at social gatherings. The dialogue sparkles, Joan Crawford’s performance as a husband stealer is still a classic, the film looks wonderful in Cukor’s hands, and the Tec… |
